I totally want that!
This is really cool.
Like you said, why didn't anyone think of something like this sooner?! :)
Thank you for this review!
Your reviews are always well done, cute, and funny. :)
I love that you just painted red polish all over your cuticle :P.
I think this might be something really cool to have in your nail polish stash!
:) BTW, what top coat did you use in your video?
Nice vid! The red polish is nice. I totally like it.
L, it’s pretty neat!
Ramina, I know, right? :-D
Rachel Marie, thanks so much! Painting over my cuticle felt so totally wrong, haha! It was fun though. The topcoat I used is Rimmel, but I’m not recommending it; the brush is stupid. I only bought it because I felt like I was wasting my good, expensive topcoats on fake demo nails and for videos like this one where I’d obviously be removing it right after.
gingersnap, thanks! It’s Eyeko’s “Saucy Polish.” There’s a proper swatch of it here: http://www.nailsbyasami.com/2010/07/new-eyeko-polishes.html
Seems like an interesting product though I see its use more in nail design possibilities than in keeping my cuticles nailpolish free =)
This is so amazingly late to the party and yet perfect!
I do have a question...Why didn't they give you a discount code? ;)
Wow, this is genious!
i just got this to try also and...maybe i'm just a dummy but i can't really make it work for me. i think my nail "dips" in too much so there's like a ditch between my nail and the skin, idk np seems to seep in anyway :/ I'm gonna make it work though, i swear haha!
coolll
such a simple idea :p why did nobody came with this earlier?
This is such an innovative tool for those nail polish lovers who have problem applying nail polish that seeps into the cuticles or just an easier way to do nail art! I love the tutorial and I think it's better than the websites video. :D
Awesome!
Very interesting :).
I wonder if they have like 50% off code? ^_^ lol
Am I wrong in thinking this looks like some sort of liquid latex? If it is, I'd be looking at buying just a bottle of that instead, because a small bottle of liquid latex isn't gonna set you back $22.
I always loved playing with my mom's watercolor masking fluid when I was a kid and I've long thought it would be awesome for nail polish. I'm so glad someone had the same thought and actually took action on it. (And I'll lament the fact I didn't and I'm not going to make any money... boo!)
naekubi, that's good! That means you're neat enough applying polish on your own. ;-)
-Elizabeth aka Lacquered Lizard, that would have been great, sorry!
Swååfie, it is really neat!
kelliegonzo, if it's still not working for you after you play with it some more, then I'd just use it for nail art and French tips.
Tasja, I know, right? I thought the same! :-)
Jackie S., glad you think so!
Arie, that would be awesome! It is pretty pricey but it seems like it will last quite a while.
Shattered, if you try that let me know how it turns out! I've never felt liquid latex before so I'm not sure of it's consistency/behavior, I'm not even sure where I'd get any. Or that I'd want to buy a bottle just to test, at that. But I am curious so if it works out please let me know!
Aimee, aw, looks like you were beaten to it!
Oh my God. I want it SO badly.
What did you do to smooth out that polish that pulled up on the candy stripe nail? Just push it back down?
JustSomeNailsByMJ, I licked it. And now you know why that wasn't shown on camera. :-D
this is such a well explained tutorial and review. I saw something similar on another blog but wasn''t really grasping how it worked or what to use it for.
This looks awesome! But how long do you think a bottle would last for someone who mainly wants to use it as a cuticle barrier and paints their nails every other day? I couldn't find how much product is actually in the bottle listed on the site, but maybe I was just missing it...
love this product idea! i posted a l your YT on my blog, please let me know if thats ok! http://polishinsomniac.blogspot.com/2010/12/one-more-thing-that-i-have-to-own.html
that is so awesome! such nice crisp lines :)
Superb video and I love the examples you've created! You've made this look so easy and straightforward I reckon even I might be able to make it work. Kinda like the thought of using it for a nice Christmassy Candy Cane look :)
This is amazing, it's certainly on my Christmas list now.
This stuff is awesome! This is most certainly one of those products I think, "why didn't anyone come up with this sooner?"
Asami, thanks for the video review. This is a fantastic product. However they don't do international shipping! :(
Wow! I need this product!! I always avoid painting my own nails because I make such a mess! If I bought this stuff, I could save money! I wouldn't need to go to the salon to have my nails painted anymore!
Thanks for the review, Asami! <3
WOW!!!!!!!!
I really need this product! Great tutorial!
Great video and want that liquid palisade, checking it out!
http://themessenger-bag.blogspot.com
That is amazing, I must have it now!
Your nails and nail art are amazing. Is there any way you could do a how to or a post (you might have done one already) on how you manage to grow your nails so long? Mine, get to a certain point then become weak!
Love the blog :-)
This is so handy!
I only have one remark.I read about this at polishhoarderdisorder.blogspot.com too, and she says you shouldn't let the polish dry before you take it off!
Hi Asami! Your blog has been changed so much from the last time I saw! I love it:)) Your video tutorials are great! I want the liquid palisade so badly:) It's super useful!!
I got my bottle last month... LOVE this stuff!! Highly recommend it, its amazing!
Thank you for doing this review! Love the pink and red nails!
