I read the first Harry Potter book when I was eleven years old, which means Harry Potter has been a significant part of my life for the last twelve years. Fortunately this last film is being split into two because of the length of the book so I won't have to get all post-Potter depression about the end of an era for another six months or so.
Hedwig, the Harry Potter logo, a wand casting a spell and a lightning bolt.
I initially had different plans for the owl nail, but I decided to simplify him to make this Harry Potter nail art as approachable as possible. (If you follow me on Twitter then you know what I mean.) This ended up working to my advantage as simplified, I was able to apply one on my opposite hand for a more cohesive manicure.
On my other hand is another wand, Hedwig again for balance, and a symbol that you'll recognize if you're familiar with the Deathly Hallows.

Wow I love the owl! Yours is the best HP mani I've seen recently because you've got actual nail art instead of just colours of the Hogwarts Houses. I mean those are nice and all, but yours is just amazing!

These are amazing!! I was in elementary school when I started reading the Harry Potter books. I remember fighting with my sisters about who got to read first whenever a new one would come out. I always won because I'm a very fast reader. I wish I could go at midnight, I'm going Friday night after work instead.
I love these designs Asami! Like you, I started reading HP when I was in my very early teens and am a huge fan. The movies are great but nothing beats the books!
Have fun watching the midnight release! Unfortunately I missed out on the Aus release of the movie by one day because I'm overseas and won't get to watch it til I get home because it's not released in HK til late December. The wait is killing me!

These are amazing! I really love how cohesive the design is. I saw the movie at midnight on Wednesday and again Thursday morning and LOVED it. They really did the book justice and I can't wait for Part 2.
