What's shown in the video are the things that live in my purse; the basics that I always carry with me. As for other makeup items like whatever lipstick or lipgloss I've decided to wear that day, they change constantly and never stay in my bag for very long so they're not featured in this particular video.

Anyway, this was a requested little video; hope you enjoy!

I guess I am kind of nosy but I LOVE posts like this, it's kind of like other people's "TOP 10 handy items I use" except they actually use though stuff!

Owwww, hahhaa, you did a 'what's in my purse video', cool :). Oh my gosh, i kinda get motion sickness too sometimes, never did before until now, weird, yeah i guess it's cool we have something in common because if i forget my motion sickness stuff and we're traveling together, you'll be my back up! haha. I use something natural that doesn't make you sleepy, it's called Hyland's Motion Sickness....good stuff! Lol...you know me and my natural stuff. I love all the fun videos that you've posted up!!

I have the same phone as you :P but I really like phone charms and I remember seeing you add it to yours before.. how did you do that (if you don't mind me asking? :p

  6. I loooooooooove the Totoro pouch and keyring you have :) I'm a huge Totoro fan!

*~kAy~*, oh, I'm sorry, Girlie! I didn't mean to mislead you. In this post: http://www.nailsbyasami.com/2010/02/orly-sweet-collection-spring-2010.html

I just wanted to show the different ways you could use the phone charms, but our phone doesn't actually have a phone-charm hole on it. I do have that pink one on my DS and the yellow one on my purse but for the photo I just put the blue string underneath my phone for illustration purposes only. Sorry if I got you excited but unfortunately our phones are not charm-compatible. I wish they were though!

So many Totoro fans! Haha! Thanks, guys. :-)

I must have a voyeur streak in me, because I've always found "What's in my purse?" videos interesting. Love your Totoro pouch and Mameshiba hand warmer.

  10. Claire says:

This is totally not related to what's in your bag but I've been looking for a new hairstyle and wasn't sure exactly what like and then while watching your video I realised....you've got the hairstyle I want!!

Lets hope it suits me!!Also loved the video :)

I have the almost the same little totoro purse, except mine has a leaf. I keep my cell in it!

    haha great minds think alike!

  12. Anonymous says:

Which do you use rohto: ice, hydra, cool, or artic? Thanks!

  13. Asami says:

Claire, aw, thank you! It's such a great length; not so long that it bothers the hell out of me and yet not so short that I can't put it up. You should go for it!

Anonymous, I use "Ice," "Arctic" and "Cool." The green and the white are my favorites. Whichever is best for you depends on your level of comfort in regards to the cooling effect. If it's your first time trying the drops then I wouldn't recommend the white because most people prefer to build up to that. "Hydra" is weakest, then the green "Cool," then the blue "Ice" and then "Arctic" is the strongest that most people think is crazy. I love them all except for Hydra; Hydra is for weaklings.

Hi! I actually got a couple of tips watching this video and wanted to leave you with a neat tip too ^_^

I also like to carry around pain medicine for occasional headaches (usually from seeing movies at the theater) and also medicine for my stomach, most often Tums or Dramamine (i get motion sick too!). So what I use for that is a small contacts case. Stomach meds in one side and headache meds in the other. It's the perfect size and I can carry whatever I need!

Love your site! Have a great day :D

  18. Danielle says:

great video, you have a lot in that bag! thanks for the great tips :)

  20. Asami says:

Anonymous, it's called "5 Second Condition."
